I am an accomplished computer support professional with over 15 years experience in IT.
I'm a generalist, a 'wearer of many hats,' well suited to independent or team success where technology supports the business.
Primarily, my strengths are centered around Windows operating systems on LAN/WANs with Exchange and IIS servers. I've also worked with MacOS and Linux/Unix. I'm strong with a wide variety of applications especially including MSOffice and Outlook. I work with web server-based and distributed applications, data backup and recovery, enterprise virus protection and other enterprise/business services. I'm very good with LAN networking using TCP/IP, NetBIOS, DHCP, WINS, DNS and Active Directory. I have experience in firewalls, VPNs, routers and other gateway technologies. I'm familiar with Remote Desktop, Terminal Services, RAS, and other remote access solutions. I do some scripting and can code a solid HTML webpage. I also have skills with PBX/phone systems and data/voice cabling.
